II. How This App Works
This App is a local Git client running on your iPhone or iPad. Its core functions include:
-
General Git operations: initialising repositories, cloning, pulling, pushing, committing, branch management, merging, viewing commit history, etc.
-
Directory and file operations: browsing local directories on your iOS device, creating/editing/deleting files, viewing file differences
-
In-app purchases: purchasing premium features through Apple App Store
The core design principle of this App is “local-first, data autonomy”:
-
This App does not provide login or registration functions. You do not need to provide a phone number, email address, or any identity information to use all basic functions.
-
Your Git code and repository data always remain locally on your iOS device and will not be uploaded to our servers.
-
All Git operations (including clone, pull, and push) are actively initiated by you on your iOS device, and data communicates directly with the remote Git server you configure, without passing through our servers.
-
In-app purchases are completed through Apple's payment system. We do not operate a payment server and do not receive or store your payment information.
III. Collection and Use of Personal Information
(1) Personal Information Collection for Basic Functions
In accordance with the structured list requirements of the Provisions on the Collection and Use of Personal Information by Internet Applications (Draft for Comments) issued by the Cyberspace Administration of China in January 2026, the personal information collection practices of this App are as follows:
| Function/Service | Purpose of Collection | Collection Method | Categories of Personal Information | Permissions Invoked | Collection Frequency |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Git Operations | Not collected | Not applicable | None | None | None |
| Directory and File Operations | Not collected | Not applicable | None | Storage/File Access | Only when the function is triggered |
(2) Personal Information Processing for the In-App Purchase Functionality
To complete in-app purchase transactions, we need to process the following data:
| Processing Scenario | Processing Purpose | Processing Method | Information Categories | Involves Sensitive Personal Information? | Processing Frequency |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Purchase Transaction Verification | Verify purchase behaviour and unlock the corresponding premium features | Anonymous verification locally on the iOS device via Apple's receipt verification mechanism | Transaction receipt (excluding payment method information), product identifier | No | Only at purchase |
| Purchase Status Sync | Ensure purchased features can be restored on different iOS devices | Query locally via the StoreKit2 API | Transaction identifier, product identifier | No | Only when the function is used |
| Restore Purchases | Restore purchase entitlement after changing iOS device or reinstalling the app | Use the standard API to complete restoration | Transaction identifier, product identifier | No | Only when actively triggered by the user |
We do not collect the following purchase-related information: your credit card number, bank account number, billing address, or other payment method information; the password or login credentials of your Apple ID account; your real name, email address, or telephone number.
Special note on transaction verification:
On iOS, we use the StoreKit2 framework provided by Apple and a local receipt verification mechanism to confirm purchase validity. Receipts are generated and cryptographically signed by Apple locally on the iOS device, and we only read the product identifier and transaction status fields therein. The verification process is completed on your iOS device, and the relevant receipt data will not be uploaded to our servers.
(3) Explanation of the Data Controller for Payment Information
The data controller for the payment information involved in in-app purchases is Apple Inc, not the developer of this App. We only obtain from Apple the verification result of “whether the purchase was successful” and the corresponding product identifier, and we do not obtain any of your payment method information or personal identity information. We recommend that you review Apple's Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/cn/privacy/).
IV. Local Data Storage on Your Device
Although the core Git functions of this App do not upload data to our servers, in order to operate normally, the following data will be stored locally on your iOS device. This data is only stored on your iOS device. We cannot access it, will not upload it to any server, and will not share it with any third party.
| Locally Stored Data | Storage Purpose | Storage Location | Deletion Method |
|---|---|---|---|
| Git repository paths and configuration | Remember repositories you have opened for quick access | App private directory | Uninstall the app or clear app data |
| Git repository data | To enable normal use | App private directory or authorised directory | App private directory: uninstall the app or clear app data Authorised directory: before authorisation is revoked, delete manually from disk via the App or delete via system file browsing; after authorisation is revoked, delete via system file browsing |
| Git credentials (e.g. HTTPS Token, SSH key) | Used to connect to the Git remote service provider you configure | Encrypted and stored in the iOS Keychain | Delete in app settings or uninstall the app |
| App preferences | Save your interface and operation preferences | App private directory | Uninstall the app or clear app data |
| Purchase status cache | Record unlocked premium feature status to avoid repeated verification | Encrypted and stored in the iOS Keychain | This cache can be rebuilt at any time via the ‘Restore Purchases’ feature and is managed by the system. |
Special note on Git credentials: When you configure an HTTPS Token or SSH key to connect to a remote repository, the credentials are encrypted and stored using the secure storage mechanism provided by the operating system. We cannot read the contents of these credentials, and the credentials are only used for Git network operations actively initiated by you.
V. System Permission Requests and Use
This App follows the “scenario-triggered” principle when requesting system permissions, meaning permissions are requested only when you actively use the relevant function. It will not request any permissions in bulk or in advance at app launch.
Permission Request List
